

GENERAL NYC STUDIO AND CLASS INFO
All Group Fitness classes must be cancelled or rescheduled at least 12 hours prior to the start of class. Late cancels and no-shows will incur the loss of the class credit.
Early cancellations (prior to 12 hours) will receive a class credit to be used for a future date. No refunds will be issued.
Clients using any unlimited package including the 8 Week Program package will incur a $20 late cancel/no show fee if they cancel inside the 12 hour window.
In the event of inclement weather or traffic, our 12 hour cancellation policy for Group Fitness Classes applies.
The health and wellness of our staff and clients are top priority for BBS. If you are experiencing Covid-19 symptoms less than 12 hours before class begins, please let us know right away. You will not be permitted back into the studio for 2 weeks or until you provide a negative Covid test.
To ensure the safety of our clients, those who are tardy will not be permitted to
enter 5 minutes after the start of class.
Late arrivals are processed the same as a late cancel.
Credits are not reinstated for late arrivals not permitted into class.
All waitlist reservations must have a prepaid class credit. If you do not make it into class, the credit will be added back to your account. No refunds.
If you make it into class, you will be notified via email with at least 12 hours notice. You must opt in to email notifications if you are on the waitlist.
BBS also offers a text messaging notification but cannot guarantee message delivery. Email notifications are guaranteed.
Clients are responsible to check their waitlist/reservation status. The 12-hour cancellation policy applies to all clients who make it off the waitlist and are added to class.
CLASS POLICIES
You are welcome to join any class type as a first time client there are no prerequisites. We do recommend our FULL BODY class as a first time guest so you can get a good grasp of what the BBS method is about. FULL BODY is our most popular toning class that works the full body with short intervals of dance cardio to spike your heart rate.
Not at all! You can have two left feet and still enjoy a Dance Cardio class at BBS! We repeat the choreography over and over throughout the class so you have a chance to learn the short routines before moving on. It doesn t matter if you re doing the steps perfectly - just keep moving and have fun!

If it s your first time at BBS, please arrive at least 10 minutes prior to the scheduled class start time to sign our waiver, check-in, and so we can show you around the studio. Clients arriving more than 5 minutes after the scheduled class start time will not be permitted into class.
BBS NYC is located at 606 West 26th Street (southside) on the ground floor between 11th 12th Avenues. The studio is a short distance from the 7 train at Hudson Yards or the C/E trains at 23rd Street.
Paid parking is available on 24th 25th Streets between 10th 11th Avenues and on 30th Street and 11th Avenue. There is limited complimentary street parking in Chelsea before 6pm.
All of our Group Fitness Classes at BBS LA are 55 minutes unless otherwise noted on the class listing.
As per New York mandates all clients are required to show proof of vaccination to enter indoor fitness facilities. Be sure to bring proof of vaccination with you for your first visit. Our team will update your account and you won t need to show proof for future visits.
Yes, we currently sell bottled water at our studio. We also provide filtered water for your convenience should you bring a bottle
Yes, BBS NYC offers a fully stocked locker room with showers, supplied with shampoo, conditioner, body wash, body lotion, face wash and face moisturizer. We also provide towels, curling and flat irons, and hair dryers for your convenience. There are additional lockers located in the lobby area, no locks required. Please keep in mind personal belongings including cellphones are not permitted in the classroom. BBS is not responsible for any lost or stolen items.
We recommend wearing comfortable, supportive work-out attire. Get ready to get hot and sweaty! All of our classes include Dance Cardio intervals, so please be aware that you will be doing a lot of jumping when choosing your tank top or sports bra! Most importantly be sure you have supportive sneakers for all of our classes at Body By Simone.
All of our classes require supportive sneakers. Any brand of shoe is fine, however at BBS we love Newton Running Shoes! Newton's lightweight design allows you to sense the ground better so that you're naturally able to work more efficiently and with more stability. Newtons are available for purchase online and in studio - just ask the front desk for more info!
We require clients to be 16 years of age to take Group Fitness classes at all BBS studios. If you are 16 or 17 years of age, please have your guardian complete this FORM and email it to nyc@bodybysimone.com in order to schedule your class. If you are under the age of 16, please reach out to us about booking a Private Group Class or Personal Training session.
Yes, we work with women during and post pregnancy. Regardless of your fitness level, we always encourage speaking with your doctor when starting a new fitness regimen and providing us with a letter stating your doctor's approval. Pregnant clients are also encouraged to wear a heart rate monitor during private sessions and classes. Always be sure to notify the Trainer that you are pregnant at the beginning of class.
Yes, we are happy to help you work through injuries and maintain your fitness level while you are recovering. We require doctor's approval before continuing a workout while injured and also advise personal training sessions (depending on the injury) so that you receive one on one attention. Our trainers will work to devise a plan that best suits you on your road to recovery.
At BBS, we recommend all clients attend class 5 days per week and also encourage a weekly day of rest. The amount of classes you take really depends on your fitness level and goals. While we do encourage pairing a toning class with a cardio class to achieve optimal results, feel free to speak to any of our Trainers for input on the best regimen for your individual needs.
