Celine Berthaud began her formal dance training at the OrigiNation Cultural Arts Center at the tender age of 12 and continued to further her training at the Boston Arts Academy where she graduated as a Dance major in 2010. She has received the Professional advancement in Dance award from The School at Jacob’s Pillow 2009, participating in their first Hip Hop Continuum Program. She has attended The Ailey School Summer Intensive, Earl Mosley Institute of the Arts, and the Contemporary Masters program at Steps on Broadway. Celine has trained with individuals such as Ronald K. Brown, Desmond Richardson, Sidra Bell, Nathan Trice, Rennie Harris, and Tai Jimenez. She has performed on BET’s 106 & Park with world-renowned choreographer, LaurieAnne Gibson and for Hip-Hop Icon, LL Cool J.
Celine graduated from George Mason University with a Bachelor degree in the Fine Arts in 2014. As a member of the Mason Dance Company, Celine has been featured in guest works by Camille A. Brown, Kate Skarpetowska, William Smith III, Christopher d’Amboise, Erika Pujic, Robert Battle, Mark Morris, and Karen Reedy.
Most recently, Celine participated in Luam Keflezgy’s Commercial Dance workshop Rock the Industry, Jessica Castro’s Lipstick Diaries, Galen Hook’s Behind the Audition and Dana Foglia’s Heels Intensive.
She has recently become a fitness trainer at Body By Simone and loves the combination of Fitness and ferocity between the staff and clients. She’s excited to finally combine her love of music, fitness, and dance in one jam-packed hour! Get ready for great tunes, good vibes and a change of clothes because it’s ALWAYS a sweaty one!
