HOW BBS CHANGED MY BODY AND OUTLOOK ON WORKING OUT: ANNA
September 8, 2014 admin

When I started coming to BBS, I didn’t have a drastic amount of weight to lose, nor was I unhealthy. I was quite the opposite, or at least I thought I was. I was in great physical condition from working out six to seven days a week through grueling long distance runs, sweaty spin classes, and over-achieving-stress-inducing boot camps.

I had been literally killing myself in the gym for years, but no matter what, could never achieve the body I dreamed of having; I could run a marathon, but wouldn’t wear a bikini in public. The paradox of being a woman! I’ve always been athletic, and with that came an athletic build. The type of build where just walking up the stairs seemed to add thickness to my quads. In the mirror all I saw was bulk, and mentally couldn’t realize that my workouts were perhaps hurting me more than they were helping me. I was in a vicious cycle of over-exercising. And with my preconceived notion of what it meant to be athletic and in shape, the thought of dancing not only made me doubtful of its effectiveness on my body, but it also gave me horrible flashbacks to a childhood of being the husky ballerina in pink tights standing in the back row.

But something about BBS – maybe it was the amazingly dynamic trainers or the intoxicating Red Flower infuser in the bathroom – made me determined to stick with it and see if I could truly get the results I desired. I’ll admit, it took a few weeks for me to be able to give up my other workouts and initial inhibitions, but after the first month, I was a full convert, and even signed up for the 8 week challenge.

And the results have far exceeded my wildest dreams. Not only have I lost pounds and inches all over, but for the first time in my life, I am long, lean, and most importantly, confidentially strong. BBS has completely transformed my shape and taught me that if you want to look like a woman, you need to work out like a woman. You truly can have the body you desire, you just have to dance your perky little ass off to get it.
