We’ve put together some commonly asked questions to give you more information about BBS and our classes.

Terms and Conditions
Head to our website and click on the ‘Studio’ link to get to our online schedule! From there it is easy to create an account and book into classes. Feel free to call your studio, or email us to book a class or private training session.
Not at all! You can have two left feet and still enjoy a Dance Cardio class at BBS! We repeat the choreography over and over throughout the class so you have a chance to learn the short routines before moving on. It doesn’t matter if you’re doing the steps perfectly – just keep moving and have fun!
We suggest wearing comfortable, supportive work-out attire. Many of our clients prefer to wear shorts, capris or leggings as you will be getting very hot and sweaty! All of our classes include Dance Cardio intervals, so please be aware that you will be doing a lot of jumping when choosing your tank top or sports bra! Most importantly be sure you have supportive sneakers for all of our classes at Body By Simone.
All of our classes require supportive sneakers. Any brand of shoe is fine, however at BBS we love Newton Running Shoes! Newton’s lightweight design allow you to sense the ground better so that you’re naturally able to work more efficiently and with more stability. Newtons are available for purchase online and in studio – just ask the front desk for more info!
At BBS, we recommend all clients attend class 5 days per week and also encourage a weekly day of rest. The amount of classes you take really depends on your fitness level and goals. While we do encourage pairing a toning class with a cardio class to achieve optimal results, feel free to speak to any of our trainers for input on the best regimen for your individual needs.
Yes! We love our male clients. We usually recommend starting with the Full Body class for your first time.
We require clients to be 16 years of age to take Group Fitness classes at all BBS studios. If you are under the age of 18, please reach out to us about booking a Private Group Class or Personal Training session.
Yes, we work with woman during and post pregnancy. Regardless of your fitness level, we always encourage speaking with your doctor when starting a new fitness regimen and providing us with a letter stating your doctor’s approval. Pregnant clients are also encouraged to wear a heart rate monitor during private sessions and classes.  Always be sure to notify the trainer that you are pregnant at the beginning of class.
Yes, we are happy to help you work through injuries and maintain your fitness level while you are recovering. We require doctor’s approval before continuing a workout while injured and also advise personal training sessions (depending on the injury) so that you receive one on one attention. Our trainers will work to devise a plan that best suits you on your road to recovery.
All of our classes on BBS Studios are 55 minutes.
Yes, we currently sell bottled water at our studio. We also provide filtered water for your convenience should you bring a bottle.
Gift cards and class packs are completely different. You may purchase classes as well as gift cards. Unlike gift cards or gift certificates, class purchases and packs are for Group Fitness Classes only. Classes and class packs cannot be given to another person as a gift, and the classes DO expire. The expiration dates are posted in the descriptions of the class or series of classes when purchasing, as well as on the receipt, and on all Terms and Conditions. Please contact your home studio with any emergency situations.
They never expire and the recipient can use the gift card(s) to buy classes or any kind of merchandise. Once a class is purchased using a gift card, it will expire just like any other class purchased. If you would like to buy a gift card, please visit the BBS Shop or your local studio. Gift Cards are only redeemable in the city in which they were purchased.
We would love that! Please note, pricing and packages differ at the studios, so you would need to contact the studio you are visiting and purchase a separate package for that location. This is also a great time to take advantage of our App!
Individual Group Fitness Classes and class packs are non refundable. You may not redeem your purchase for cash, or in-studio credit. Class purchases are for Group Fitness Classes only and not redeemable for merchandise.
Yes, we have showers at BBS, supplied with shampoo, conditioner and body wash. We also provide towels and hairdryers for your convenience. Please contact the individual studios for more information.
All Group Fitness classes must be cancelled or rescheduled at least 12 hours prior to the start of class. Late cancels and no-shows will incur the loss of the class credit. Early cancellations (prior to 12 hours) will receive a class credit. No refunds will be issued. Clients using Unlimited & 8 Week Program payment type will incur a $20 late cancel/no show fee if they cancel inside the 12 hour window. 
All private training sessions must be cancelled or rescheduled at least 24 hours prior to the scheduled session. Late cancellations and no shows will incur a full charge of the session.
All waitlist reservations must have a prepaid class credit. If you do not make it into the class, the cred will be added back to your account. We do not offer refunds. If you make it into class, you will be notified via email with at least 12 hours notice – please make sure you opt in to email notifications so you can receive waitlist updates! If it is less than 12 hour before the start of class, please feel free to give us a call or email to see if any additional spots have opened up!  Clients are responsible for checking their waitlist/reservation status. The 12 hour cancellation policy applies to all clients who make it off the waitlist and are added to class.
All Group Fitness and Private Training packages expire 3 months from the purchase date. Packages are only valid in the city they are purchased.

The BBS app features three sections: Today, Library, and your Profile TODAY SECTION The Today section contains our suggestions for your day. This gets updated every morning, using the artificial intelligence of our app. Here you’ll find your recommended workout, which could be a live class that would help you achieve your objectives or a personalized selection of video the app chooses for you. Below your recommended workout, you’ll find your personalized, daily meal plan, based on your profile. You can see your breakfast, lunch, snack, and dinner. And anytime we have a tip or reminder for you, it will also appear on your Today screen. By clicking on the calendar, you can see your workout history and find any past live class, including those from version 1 of the app. LIBRARY SECTION Whenever you want another workout or recipe, different from what we suggested for your day, the library is the perfect place to find it. Here, we have all the different workouts, as well as recipes. And you can even explore our curated lists, with special highlights from our library. YOU SECTION The You section is where you can change settings and keep track of your amazing progress! You can see your overall stats and go further in depth by seeing your measurements. And compare your progress photos to see all the amazing changes of your body. Anytime you favorite a workout or recipe, it’ll appear here on your saved lists. And groceries appear here too! Using the Weekly Workouts, you can see how you’ve been doing this week and change your goals.
The Level System is based on your cumulative hours of working out.
Everyone begins at Level 1.
Users "Level Up" to Level 2 after their first 60 minutes of working out!
Users hit Level 3 after another 75 minutes of exercise.
Users reach Level 4 for after an additional 90 minutes of exercise.
And on and on!
Once you hit Level 10 you will level up after every 6.5 hours of exercise!
Just like a video game, the more advanced you become the harder you have to work to Level Up! The number of levels is endless, so we recommend you set a personal goal for yourself for motivation!
